20th Memorial of the Death of Vincent Chin

On June 19, 2002, the Asian Pacific American Bar Association (APABA) and other Los Angeles Bar Associations will mark the 20th memorial of the death of Vincent Chin, a 27 year old Chinese American who was beaten to death with a baseball bat by two Caucasian auto workers in Detroit. APABA will mark the occasion with a screening of "Who Killed Vincent Chin" (1988) at the David Henry Hwang Theater of the East West Players in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. The screening sponsored by the Visual Communications and the bar associations.
6:00 p.m. Reception and art exhibition;
7:30 p.m. Film followed by panel discussion with Angela Oh, Esq., Stewart Kwoh of APALC, Tracy Kato Kirayama of Zero 3, and Glenn Omatsu of UCLA.
